Don’t run🏃🏾‍♀️ just trust!

Some of us were gifted the ability to sprint on the tracks of life! It would seem as if we were either born with the track shoes on our feet or found them very early in life because we just can’t recall a time when we weren’t running from something, someone or a situation. The life of a sprinter!

Why do we run? We run out of fear and low tolerance. We fail to push and put up a fight because we already see ourselves as defeated. We prize running as a win and a solution when running only gives the illusion of a solution. In reality it solves nothing. It presents temporary relief but whatever it is we are running from we are sure to face the same problems within ourselves down the road.

The problem is rarely what’s before us but rather what’s within us. The lack of patience and control, the lack of critical thinking and compromise, the lack of prayer and not trusting the process. The inability to let go off learnt behaviors and not addressing the change that needs to be made within ourselves to allow growth.

If it is that the only control we have is of ourselves then addressing issues starts within. We must make up our minds to face US and change our application. Change the way we approach problems and situations in our lives by first seeing ourselves!

Change the defeated mindset to one of victory and trust the process!

Trusting the process, means we are letting go and allowing God to be greater in us.

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
